Teddie Bearaboo was the beloved dog and lifelong companion of Grey Farabaugh. She was the cherished granddaughter of Jeff Farabaugh, niece of Jeffrey Farabaugh II, and godchild of Honey, and was loved by a large family of dogs and cats.
Teddie came home at eight weeks old after Grey, worked hard to earn her dream dog. From the beginning, Teddie was remarkably intelligent. She never needed to be potty trained, rarely needed a leash, learned without treats, knew her lefts and rights, and could even “say” I love you by matching her barks to the syllables.
Teddie was Grey’s constant companion through eight years of honor roll and her graduation with honor ropes, accomplishments Grey believes Teddie earned right alongside her.
She loved lying beside Grey while she played guitar, made art, listened to music, and worked on her hobbies. She was also an excellent listener, patiently accompanying Grey on walks and listening to every rant and conversation along the way. She had plenty of opinions herself, expressed through huffs, eye rolls, and unmistakable looks.
Teddie was Grey’s dream dog and became far more than that: she was family, a companion, and a constant presence through childhood and into adulthood.
She is survived by Grey, Jeff, Jeffrey, Honey, Winter, Daisy, Mabel, Tink, Nova, Mila, Josie, Norah, Jill, Jack, and the many people and animals who loved her. Waiting for her on the rainbow bridge was Molly.
Grey would like to thank her dad, Teddie's grandpa, for giving her the chance to get Teddie, her dream dog breed, in the first place.
